So what's new?
Fresh new look
Power Diary has a fresh new look designed to make it easier and more intuitive to use. The design changes mean less mouse clicks are needed to perform some of common diary functions. If you have a widescreen monitor you will also notice the system now makes full use of your screen space.
Faster with less screen movements
New programming technology means that now when you make a change in the diary the whole page will not need to refresh. Instead the system will only update the information that has been changed. This means the screen will not flash or jump each time a change is made, your diary will operate a lot faster even when on a lower quality internet connection, and the system will use even less data to operate.
Easier diary navigation
It is now easier to navigate forwards and backwards through the diary by using the new diary navigation buttons at the top of the calendar. Also you can now always get back to "Today" with a single click!
Better menu system
The menu system has been reorganised to give you quicker access to the most frequently used features.
Quicker access to client profiles
When an appointment is selected you can now access the client's profile directly by clicking on their name in the appointment panel (you will notice it has a little pencil symbol next to it.) You can also quickly access the most recent client profile you were editing by clicking on the "Clients" menu and selecting "Last Client"
Improved display of multiple diaries
If you are using a larger number of diaries you will no longer have to use a scroll bar to find the diary you are looking for. Now you can simply hover over your diaries and all diaries will automatically display and be available for selection. (Note this feature only applies if you use more than 15 diaries and display them using images instead of a drop-down box.)
Optimised for Ipad
Power Diary has now been optimised for use on an Apple Ipad. As Ipad does not allow you to 'right-click' Power Diary as been updated so that all features can be accessed without this function.
New security feature
Power Diary now keeps a record of each page your users visit, along with the date and time. A record of the IP address that was used to access the account is also recorded. For privacy and secuirty reasons this information can be provided upon request to the primary Power Diary account holder only.
